Le First Day
Le First Official Day of work for me (since I was born really) has been pretty enriching but VERY VERY tiring. Brain seems about to explode from the amount of stuff we've had to absorb. Still the people at Bain appear very capable and extremely smart. Our internship project director is a full-fledged consultant from China (but studied in the US) and is a real 'chill' sorta guy. Queer enough one of the swimmer's parents I know also works at the company. Its a real friendly kind of place and oh ... the office is simply spectacular (it was previously the finance minister's office till he moved out). Polished and varnished clean surfaces and a very simple but tasteful decor. The office is on the top floor of the building with a private garden (and private lift as well!). We had lunch at a French restaurant, 'Le Papillon' paid for by 'Uncle Bain' ;p. Bee told me about the 5kg that girls put on in their first year of uni ... well they have the Bain5kg as well because there are just so many social events going on! Hopefully I get more used to the timing and hours of the job so that i can squeeze in both a good exercise regime as well as minimal social life (but of which are painfully absent now).
I MISS U!
