Le First Day

Le First Official Day of work for me (since I was born really) has been pretty enriching but VERY VERY tiring. Brain seems about to explode from the amount of stuff we've had to absorb. Still the people at Bain appear very capable and extremely smart. Our internship project director is a full-fledged consultant from China (but studied in the US) and is a real 'chill' sorta guy. Queer enough one of the swimmer's parents I know also works at the company. Its a real friendly kind of place and oh ... the office is simply spectacular (it was previously the finance minister's office till he moved out). Polished and varnished clean surfaces and a very simple but tasteful decor. The office is on the top floor of the building with a private garden (and private lift as well!). We had lunch at a French restaurant, 'Le Papillon' paid for by 'Uncle Bain' ;p. Bee told me about the 5kg that girls put on in their first year of uni ... well they have the Bain5kg as well because there are just so many social events going on! Hopefully I get more used to the timing and hours of the job so that i can squeeze in both a good exercise regime as well as minimal social life (but of which are painfully absent now).

I MISS U!

7 Hrs Later ...

coming back home always feels slightly surreal for a few days at least. with the preparations for my internship i'm harried once again and probably will not have the time to meet more than a few friends. gore and den are as crappy as ever .. that's the thing about siblings and close friends ... its always the same no matter how far apart or how long you spend apart from each other.
an update on our housing ... we've found a county hall place and although its gonna bankrupt me i'm gonna enjoy the gym and pool! the trouble we went through to find this place and to arrange everything however was just sheer lunacy and is not something i wanna repeat anytime soon really. thousand apologies to me housemates benny and danceybee that i wun be there to help! ;( thanks so much! ;p
start work on monday ... please pray that i perform well and get this job my friends.

Alien Alert!!! Always Appreciated ;p

Okee Dokee

Okee Dokee its done ... been a little weary since it ended and have had an almost continuously pounding migrane but still relieved ... no joy just relief.
Wanna get more rest but there's just so much to do ... housing, packing (for trip and to move), trip details, settling phone and bank stuff, brought VJ tour group around the school (they were like Sec 4 kids! part of the intergrated programme! they really looked like tiny tots lor ... I am like SEVEN years older than them!) ... played a little soccer but due to the lack of fitness was horribly tired, watched X-Men (I rather liked it contrary to popular opinion but they were right that the director killed off too many main characters ... drats) and went to borough market (where i had bradwurst, ostrich burger, bought fudge and da-paoed a thai-flavoured pie back for dinner ;p)

I made several new friends this exam period ... and I'm glad for that ... funny how you only get to make better friends in the crappiest of times haha ... that's life for you ...

Leaving for Spain and Portugal in just over 24hrs ... feel a little drained right now but hopefully I return to shape by this time tmr ...

Hope you're (really) alright ... Always here (for you) ...
