Impossibility Theorem

Arrow's Impossibility Theorem states that there exists no mechanism for aggregating the preferences of rational individuals into a coherent group preference that simultaneously satisfies the following four reasonable conditions:
(i) Universal Domain
(ii) Pareto Optimality
(iii) Independence of Irrelevant Alternatives
(iv) Non-dictatorship

Justin's Impossibility Theorem states that there exist no mechanism for allowing a final year BSc Government and Economics student to simultaneously accomplish the following four objectives given the limits of a 24hr day:
(i) Core readings
(ii) Essays and Weekly Assignments
(iii) Complete Job Applications (aka JABS)
(iv) Keep fit

Post-Mortem

The truth.
I don't know what I feel or think anymore.
Isn't that strange?

A busy schedule's like a shield
You don't ponder, don't feel, don't live
Your emotions are blocked-out
Just run on
And avoid the thoughts that once in awhile creep up upon you almost unsuspecting.

Bomb-elicious Dutch Fries, very tiring late-night taxi ride, touristy windmills, alien-cakes, airport hospital and missed flights, crepes ... our experiences are always so unique ;p

I'm Still Alive

Just in case my friends back home are starting to wonder if I am even alive, well here's a post to validate my continued existence. This could cheer you or return you to depression depending on how you see it. Either ways my life is once again dominated by a single function: job apps (exams have been substituted for something more mind-boggling and soul-selling).

Quote of the Day
Benny Boy: If I didn't have these apps to do, I'd be slacking in front of the TV wondering what to do. I'd be looking at you doing your apps and asking you why am I so bored!

Its A Mad, Mad, Mad World

Mad, mad, mad schedules. Up to my elbows in apps, banking research, readings, gym, lectures, meeting people, misc activities ...
Is this really the first week of school????!!!!!

Somewhere Only We Know

I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete

Oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

I came across a fallen tree
I felt the branches of it looking at me
Is this the place we used to love?
Is this the place that I've been dreaming of?

Oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

And if you have a minute why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
This could be the end of everything
So why don't we go
Somewhere only we know?
