In Gratitude

Canary Wharf

I walked through Canary Wharf today after an interview. It was just plain spectacular. The huge sky scrapers with the names of the various banks emblazoned on their sides, bankers or other professionals rushing around; its the atmosphere of vitality, drive and ambition that really makes you want to be a part of the place. Does that sound totally shallow? Yeah I think it is. But I find myself actually enjoying my interviews and the stuff I'm learning in finance. Maybe its an acquired taste but it doesn't really matter. My short-term single purpose in life can be reduced to the following: get a job in London; all other goals have been relegated for an indefinite period. ;p

the 23rd reminder: alien and his lovely tree-stump ninja on a date in kazakh-land; we recalled the meaning of life, the universe and everything (including apps, work, rugby, friends and other things in between);p
